Last week I did a tried to do $40 a week and really came short. As I ran my new paycheck budget this week I had $ 50. Ya, 10 more bucks to spend. So I made plans to spend that much. Still I over by $10 but they only had a pack of two chickens, I got some chorizo for breakfast burritos for $1.00.  I should had just purchased a few oranges instead of a bag. I actually have some food left over from last week from the chicken purchased and some italian sausage I got to make some soup but I had some sausage left over that worked, two oranges, milk and a couple of other items . Below I worked out the menu.  DH purchased some cereal and apples so this is truly not correct so all the food in the home but they did not come out of my budget. Some of the food are stables that are purchased every month or so. They will be purchased, as needed. The oatmeal, peanut butter, sausage were purchased last week. This week my shopping was all done at Wal-Mart. We drove the larger city near us to do shopping. I was surprised since most of the items were about 10 cents cheaper than I can get locally.

Lunch: Out to eat

Dinner: Fish Fillets (Packaged), Oven roasted potato slices, Corn


Breakfast: Mexican Sausage and eggs (Mexican or Breakfast burritos), Coffee

Lunch: Peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. Orange

Dinner: Chicken & Rice Casserole, Muffins, orange, Fruit cocktail


Breakfast: Eggs,toast

Lunch: leftovers. Orange

Dinner: Crescent Chicken Ring, Baked Potato, Fruit


Breakfast: Oatmeal, Fruit, Coffee

Lunch: Peanut butter & Jelly Sandwich, Orange

Dinner: Spanish Egg omelet, Mixed Vegetables

Dinner: Spaghetti with Italian sausage meatballs. Green Beans. bread
