I like asymmetrical balance because it is done with the eye. The group is still balanced but it gives more variety, visual interest, and liveliness. A center point is still used but you need the same mass or size on each side. Here on top of kitchen cabinets the chicken has a lot of mass so I used a vase with tulips and a tea-cup to counter balance between the grinder.
This photo however is not the greatest. I suppose you can’t have everything.
